Linda Barnett—A Staging professional and Certified Home Staging Trainer—founded Home Matters in 2004, and has since worked with more than one thousand homeowners, realtors, builders and investors throughout the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Linda’s background as a former Realtor, owner of a Gift Basket and Event planning business, Certified Interior Decorator has served her well in the Home Staging Industry. Linda was trained as an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) in early 2004 and continued her training in Staging and Redesign (SAR) in 2008 and then as a Certified Staging Professional (CSP) in 2009. Since beginning in the home staging field, Linda has added 4 design/staging specialist to the Home Matters team. Linda and her team have been featured in numerous media, including The Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis House & Home Magazine, Indianapolis Business Journal, REAL ESTATE Lifestyle Magazine, FOX 59 News, and WISH-TV/Angie’s List segments. Linda’s and her teams extensive body of work earned her a nomination for the 2007 & 2009 Professional Stager of the Year Award from the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and has been named “Best in Class” Home Staging & Redesign Company by the F.C. Tucker Real Estate Company for 2008 & 2009. Home Matters also enjoys the highest ranking among all Indiana staging companies by Angie’s List. Linda served as Technical Editor for the Home Staging for Dummies book, which was released by Wiley Publishing, Inc. in May of 2008. In 2008, Linda and her husband Gary became Co-Indiana state Presidents of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and in 2009 the Home Matters team hosted the Stager’s List expo in Indianapolis. Linda is an Indiana state approved instructor holding classes for Real Estate agents on their GRI designation at the IUPUI campus.

Linda is an active member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors.
