This class is designed for mid-level stagers that are operating their companies solo and are ready to take their business to the next level. Participants should have established businesses and be actively working.
This fun and informative class will provide the tools and information to be able to establish a team in the challenging world of home staging.
We will discuss hiring practices, how to find and pay team members and policies and procedures required to produce an effective team. We will touch on the pitfalls and problems that expanding your staff can offer as well as address administrative procedures such as employee contracts and billing.

If you have every had the thought, ‘There are just not enough minutes in the day’ or ‘I wish I could clone myself’…
1. Hiring Practices. Participants will be able to develop a hiring process and learn how to find their team members and train them once they are found.
2. What and How to Pay Your Team. Participants will be given the tools to learn how to reimburse their team members and employment contracts to have in place for them.
3. Policies and Procedures. Participants will learn the importance of a Policies and Procedures Manual and learn how to incorporate them into their business.

With over 20 years of design and professional management skills, Katie Matthewman began her career in home staging in 2006 . Her company, Fine Redesign Home Staging & Décor Inc. is an award wining business located in Vancouver British Columbia that has grown to include six full time stagers. They operate out of a very busy warehouse filled with half a million dollars in inventory. Together, they have successfully staged well over 1000 homes to date and are on track to reach a million dollars in revenue by 2016.
