Overcoming Staging Pitfalls
A fun, informative and interactive hour of REAL STAGING EXPERIENCES, we will cover problem-solving and handling issues such as poor floor plans, sellers’ 1970’s furniture (that they insist on making ‘front and center’), Grandpa’s big dead moose head…a.k.a. ‘wall art’ and humorous requests from clients, just to name a few! We will tackle the basics on how to deal with everything from pet and other non-appealing odors to religious artifacts, family photos, editing and prepping for photography (one of THE most important aspects of successful staging and THE first impression for potential home buyers).
We will educate our stagers on how to be ‘STAGING EXPERTS’ in handling Realtors’ demands, client expectations and avoiding potential conflicts, the importance of being familiar with the area demographics in which you are staging and how to ‘upstage’ the competition! Plus, CURB APPEAL 101, inexpensive ‘WOW’ tricks and quick tips on design trends, color and scale, inventory (how, why and what to buy), window treatments and using plants strategically.

Susann started her career in interior design after moving from Atlanta to Los Angeles. Coupled with an advertising and marketing background, she launched several high-end design boutiques in Los Angeles prior to moving to Temecula. Susann quickly found her niche in merchandising and marketing high-end real estate and formed PR Design Group in 2004.
PR Design Group is a full-service interior design firm, specializing in high-end staging and merchandising for realtors, homeowners, spec builders and developers.
Consulting in Southern California for the past 10 years, Susann manages a portfolio of investors seeking solid investment opportunities.
